DORIS-Kavität 1-zellig

The 1-cell DORIS-Cavity

 

The 1-cell DORIS-Cavity was developed in 1968 after foregoing investigations of a 2-cell cavity.
In 1969 the first prototype was delivered and one year later a second prototype was built and delivered.
In 1971 a prototype cavity was installed and tested in the synchrotron DESY. The first series cavity was delivered in 1972.
In 1973 the installation of the cavities in the new DORIS machine started.
